There is a famous saying that a talented man is talented in everything. It is totally true when it comes to Mario Dewar Barret, R&B and pop singer, songwriter, model, dancer and actor. He originates from Baltimore and was born on the August 27, 1986. He was raised by his grandmother after the divorce of his parents. He decided at the age of four that he would become a singer some day. He never gave up on this dream and was able to realize it.
His professional career as an artist began in July 2002 when his debut album Mario was released. It was an instant success. The teenager immediately attracted the attention of public. The second album Turning Point was released in two years. The album and its main single "Let Me Love You" caused a sensation. The song was number one in the hit parades of the United States for a few months.
In addition to being a pop singer, Mario is a talented actor and dancer. During his career as an artist he took part in shooting of three video films. One of these video films, "Step Up", released on August 11, 2006, is a dance-themed film. In this movie Mario seized a chance to show his wonderful dancing abilities.
Mario is only 23 years old, but he is amidst the most popular artists in the United States. His new album is about to be released and Americans are looking forward to it. |
